Approved ports are remembered by your browser and listed above. Adding a new device opens the browser's port chooser once.
Advanced tools
Optional
EEPROM dumps are printed to the browser dev-tools console.
Configure Bluetooth
Optional
• Bluetooth isn't supported on all devices.
• Some devices use Bluetooth Classic, and some use BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
• Put the RNode into Bluetooth pairing mode, then connect from Android Bluetooth settings.
• Once you initiate a pair request from Android, a PIN shows on the RNode display.
• In Sideband, enable Connect using Bluetooth under Hardware → RNode.
• If your device uses BLE, also enable Device requires BLE under Hardware → RNode.
• Restart Sideband after changing settings, or nothing will happen.
Configure TNC mode
Optional
• TNC mode makes the RNode act as a KISS-compatible TNC over the serial port.
• Use it with amateur-radio software that talks to a KISS TNC over serial.
• Keep TNC mode disabled when using MeshChat or Sideband.
LCS Recommended preset
914.875 MHz · 250 kHz · SF 11 · CR 5 · {{ selectedProduct?.id === 0xC3 ? '28' : '22' }} dBm{{ selectedProduct?.id === 0xC3 ? ' (Heltec v4)' : '' }}
Configure display & LED
Optional
Timeout of 0 disables blanking. Intensity/timeout/address/NeoPixel apply only to devices with that hardware. Display rotation requires firmware v1.80+.
Configure WiFi
Optional
• WiFi applies to ESP32-based RNodes only (e.g. Heltec, LilyGO); nRF52 devices like RAK4631 ignore it.
• Station joins an existing network; Access Point makes the RNode host its own.
• Leave IP / netmask blank for automatic (DHCP).
